Hi ho, Hi ho, a-gigging we will go

Well, we’ve got our first paid gig this weekend. Yes, this time someone has been fool enough to offer us money to do a gig. It comes at a price though. We’re playing at the Worcestershire Police headquarters in Hindlip, Worcester. It’s the annual sports and social club christmas party.

It’ll be interesting to see how the police party, I expect it won’t be that different to anyone else, though perhaps a bit louder.

The party starts around 8pm, we’re on at around 9pm, if you’re interested in coming along, please do. Tickets cost £5 and you can pay on the door. You get access to the buffet for your fiver as well as reasonably priced booze!

Here’s the set list we intend playing, though I’m interested in the reaction we’ll get to the third song.

Rocks – Primal Scream
All The Small Things – Blink 182
I Fought The Law – The Clash
Waiting – Greenday
Word Up – Gun version of Cameo song
Are You Gonna Go My Way – Lenny Kravitz
The Man Who Sold The World – Nirvana version of David Bowie song
Losing My Religion – R.E.M.
My Hero – Foo Fighters
I Beleive In A Thing Called Love – The Darkness
Fifteen Years – The Levellers
Closing Time – Semisonic
Slither – Velvet Revolver
Holiday – Greenday
Merry Christmas Everybody – Slade

You can hear excerpts from some of these on the main website in the Group Therapy section. Pictures will be posted once I have them (assuming I can find someone to take pictures!).
